Here are some important dates to remember:

School Hours: 8:35 a.m. - 2:55 p.m. * Please refer to the Student Handbook for more information. 

December 15th: Holiday Concert at 10:15 am. 

December 22nd: Early Release Day at 11:15 am - please make sure your child's teacher knows how they will be getting home. There will be NO Lee's Martial Arts, New Mornings or 21st Century on early release day. 

December 25th-January 1st - Holiday Vacation we cannot wait to see everyone back on Tuesday, January 2, 2018!

West Side Library

There are so many wonderful programs and opportunities at the West Side Library! 
Check out their monthly flyers:

 We are open Monday through Friday
Mondays-Thursdays we are open in the afternoon from 12:30-5:30
 Fridays, we are open 9:30-1:30.  
We will have lots of programs for the kids and teen after school as well as a morning story time on Fridays.


Youth Center

The Regis A. Lemaire Youth Center
is opening again!  
It provides a safe space for internet access, opportunities to complete homework, table games, and in fun with friends.  It will be open for the month of November on weekday afternoons from 3:00PM to 6:00PM.  The center is open to 9-15 year olds in Manchester and it is free of charge. The Lemaire Center has been and will continue to be a positive environment for the youth in Manchester.

Computer Science Education Week  
December 5 - 11


"Launched in 2013, Code.org® is a non-profit dedicated to expanding access to computer science, and increasing participation by women and underrepresented students of color. Our vision is that every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science. We believe computer science should be part of core curriculum, alongside other courses such as biology, chemistry or algebra."

Who is performing? The first and third-grade classes will be joining our 5th-grade chorus on stage. 

Frequently Asked Questions:

My child is in the performance, what should they wear? 

First Grade - a solid color shirt ( green, red, yellow, blue) and dark pants or skirt

Third Grade - festive clothing ( NO JEANS)

Chorus - white collared shirt and black pants

Our next session of Positive Solutions for Families will begin on July 11th.  Space is limited – so please have clients register soon!

 

As always our HiSET program is enrolling clients year round for the four classes we offer.  We offer two day time classes at our 435 South Main Street location and two evening classes, at Gossler Park Elementary School and Beech Street School.

  • Don't forget to call 624-6321 to report your child absent. Please state first and last name, teacher name and the reason why your child is absent from school.
